Natterjack Toad (Epidalea calamita, formerly Bufo calamita)

Hi Steve - reasonably recent although I'm danmned if I can lay my hands on the reference though! I think generally agreed close on a year ago. Part of a massive re-classification of amphibans which also affected our "common" newts and the green frog complex (amongst many others!)

I've heard a few people express scepticism about some parts of it, and it wouldn't be at all surprising if future research resulted in yet more changes...
